Tech ta ta tech technology

While I was in a bathroom in a large second hand store I came across one of the oddest instances of technology I've seen in this country so far. A motorized door on a sanitary bin. Gross? Kind of. Useful? I doubt it. With the same amount of energy it takes to wave your hand over the sensor you could open the door with your pinkie.

    Australia's had these for ages - BAM! I was surprised to see a proper sanitary bin at all in Japan the other day. I think the motorised door is about the whole cleanliness thing...not having to touch something that's might have.....yeah.....
